I've stayed so quiet,
so calmed,
so true to my being away
from all the part of you that disgusts me
and blinds the rest of you being a friend.

So this might find a way
just to let me see again
the clarity
of that commitment 
one day we both signed without ink or liquor
but with an ocean whole.

So, although this can set a fade out,
I must stay real,
as I am not the owner of any fate
but I only own my own honesty.
